Post It Note Pad
Today I had a little bit of free time so I worked on project that I have been wanting to try.
It is a chipboard post it note pad. I used some pretty patterned paper, ribbon, Bind It All, 3M memo pad and chipboard. The heart is from the Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge.
I wanted the chipboard to be sturdy so I glued two pieces of it together and then adhered the pattern paper to both sides. Next, I attached the 3M pad and sanded the sides to make them look nice and binded it with the Bind It All. I tied my new pink grosgrain ribbon on the front and cut the heart from the Hello Kitty Greeting cartridge. The heart was attached with foam mounting.

I really like the post-it-note pad. That would make a nice, little present…maybe even a teacher present. I don’t have Bind-It-All, would ribbon or something else work?
Thanx
Hi Brenda,
I tried using ribbon once and it looked pretty but it did not work. It messed up the ribbon every time that I opened and closed it. It might work if you can reinforce the holes with some metal grommets or large eyelets.
If you have a Hobby Lobby near you and want the Bind It All, you can use the 40% off coupon on it. It is $69.99 regular price and after a $28.00 discount it ends up being $41.99 plus tax.
An alternative to the Bind It All would be just to use loose leaf binding rings. You can you use just a regular hole punch and punch the holes for the rings. Stores like hobby lobby, Joann’s and Office Max sell them.
SO cute!!!!! I love how it turned out!!!! Beautiful work!!
