I had to do a multi cut 2 to cut through. It is kind of like sandpaper. It works wonderful. Another trick to try if you like glitter but not the mess. Cut the castle, run it through a xyron machine backwards so the front has the adhesive on it and apply glitter. Works perfect. I used glitter paper from walmart. I'm thinking of using fine grit sandpaper to make it a "sand" castle. Tell me, did you have trouble with the glitter sticking to your matt? If so, how did you clean it up? Did the glitter dull your blade? I would also like to use glitter paper for some projects but am afraid of consequences. Would love your response.
