Sorry for not posting many files lately.  My daughter has been sick with a cold, fever and an ear ache.  The antibiotics have kicked in and she is doing well now.  I was next to catch the cold and just starting to get over it hoping that I don’t give it to my son.  He has been teething and I am trying hard to make sure he stays well.  Big sister likes to give him lots of kisses so it is a little difficult. My husband is on call this week and has been so busy with the cold snap that came in that we have not been able to see each other much.  I have not been able to do much on the computer lately besides check e-mail once in awhile.  I was able to start working on some files last night after work.  Someone requested a homecoming word book.  I finished 95% of it then inkscape crashed and I lost all my work.  It was 3 a.m. by then so I gave up and went to bed.  I know for sure that I will be posting some files on Sunday so check back.

I have been looking at this tool Crafter’s Companion and I really wanted to try it out.  I thought I would share that is is now available at www.joann.com.  I got the new sales ad in the mail today.  It has 3 coupons inside.  The normal 40% off coupon and 2 50% off coupons.  The 50% coupons have 2 online codes.  You can use codes DFSE295 (the coupon says valid Oct 18 through Oct 22 but works fine now) or DFSE297 (valid Oct 23 and Oct 24 only) for 50% off one regular price item.  I ended up saving $30.00 off the crafter’s companion and then I registered a new online account at joann.com and got shipping for $2.95.  I ended up paying $34.95 total.  That is the best deal that I have found on this.  I will let you know what I think about it after I receive it and have time to play with it a little bit.
