Creating Word Layers In Inkscape
Here is a video on how to create layered words to cut on your cricut. I used Inkscape and a font called Old Christmas but you really can use just about any font on your computer. Some fonts cut better then others on you cricut though.

I have tried to follow along with your tutorial but on my inkscape mat it seems to be a 6″ by 12″ instead of 12″ x 12″ – could you please tell me how to correct this. Thanks for the wonderful website!!!
