Cri-Kits Gel Pen Graduation Pary Invite and Blog Candy!!!!!! (Closed)

My niece Jessica is graduating High School and my other niece Christina is graduating from college. My sister asked me to make invitations for them. I recently received of set of gel pens from Peggy at www.cri-kits.com so I decided to use them to make the invitations and they turned out awesome!!! (if I say so myself 
)
Here are the invitations that I made for them to hand out to there friends.
Cri-Kit gel pens are awesome. I love all the colors that you can choose from. The colors above are from the Metallic set. You can see the color choices here. I am positive that these cri-kit gel pens are going to be a hit. I decided rather then just post a bunch of pictures that I will do a video.
It was really hard to squeeze everything I wanted into the 10 minute limit that YouTube has so I had to edit some spots. If you have any questions though, please let me know. I am happy to answer them for you! The biggest one will be what font did I use? I will answer that right now. The font is Biscotti. It is a hairline font. Essentially it still has the inner and outside lines but because the lines are so thin, it actually looks like a single line font.
Here is the graduation cap SVG if you would like to download it. Due to the fact that I had to make so many, I broke out and dusted off my 12×24 mat. I was able to do 8 invites at a time that way.

The invitations are beautiful. I’ve been wrestling all week with whether or not to order the pens. Asking myself — why would I want them? How would I use them? This video is very easy to follow. I learn by visual and felt your tutorial was one of the best for me. thanks so much for this video, mostly because i learned something you werent even try to teach here. when i import a svg to scal, i didnt realize it kept the layers so that you can access them in scal also. this will help me considerably and a big time saver to my ungrouping and copying to different layers or pages.

I saw these through blog hopping and then at the Expo, i wanted to see more on them, thanks, ohh and love how elegant and simple the invites came out. Congrats to them I just finished to it a lot of work, but worth it.

Your cards turned out so cute!!! I love the tassels! Peggy contacted me too, but I guess I didn’t respond soon enough because I didn’t hear back from her. The pens do look fun. I wouldn’t have thought to do the journaling with them like that. I was just thinking of drawing the cricut images instead of cutting them. That’s why it’s great to get a variety of ideas right?
