Happy Halloween!  I meant to try and get these two post up earlier this week but was not able to do it.  The kids had so much fun trick or treating.  They scored a lot of candy.  There were not a lot of trick or treaters out so a lot of people just gave out handfuls and handfuls of candy.

We came across a very interesting pumpkin carving while we were out.  The pumpkin obviously had a lot to drink!

At Michaels and Joanns they have the cutest scarecrows.  Joann’s had there’s on sale.  I buy one every year.  What is Halloween or Thanksgiving with out a SCARECROW?  I love them, I have a really cute one that I bought several years ago that is my favorite.  It is fiber-optic.  The light shoots out around the places where straw pokes out.  I love to watch it at night.  I can’t believe that I am the only one that likes scarecrows right?  Here is scarecrow silhouette for you!

This past weekend was warm and beautiful.  It almost made me believe that summer could not possibly be over…. yeah right.  Fall is here.  The smells and the wonderful colors.  The Halloween costumes are ready for the kids.  My son is going to be Woody from the Toy Story and my daughter is going to be a Fairy with purple wings.  We are going to go to a pumpkin farm to pick our own pumpkins.  I can’t wait because I think that the kids are going to have a blast.

I already posted several pumpkins so I decided to do something a bit different.

I don’t like spiders!  Yes, when I see one I have to scream and it gives me the heebie jeebies.  Halloween is about scare right?  Here is a spider!

I promised this svg earlier in the week.  It is pumpkin box or not!  The pumpkin face glows in the dark thanks to Martha Stewart glow in the dark glitter.  I used the font from Lettering Delights DB Jack-O-Pattern.

TIP:  Load one of the box template into sure cut’s alot and then load the font and size the face inside the box and then delete the box and cut only face.

After I cut the face in SCAL2, I ran it face down through my xyron machine.  Then sprinkled glow in the dark glitter on it.  Pressed it firmly down to help it adhere.  Ran the pieces right side up through the xyron machine again.  Then adhered them to my finished box.  The Martha Stewart Glow In The Dark Glitter is rechargeable.  My daughter has been having so much fun running back and fourth to the bathroom. She put’s it on the sink and turns the light off to see it glow.

I love the face.  It is so cute!

Right now they are having dollar days.  I think for a buck, this font is an awesome deal!
