That may sound pretty simplistic, but the fact is like Sheree says, people have the option of buying other cutters that support or allow the use of SCAL and MTC. I am pretty computer savvy, however, when I craft designing projects in and of itself takes a lot of time. I don't have extra time to sit at the computer forever manipulating and searching for images and cut them. I'm all about the time factor. But, once again that is my choice. And I will not slam SCAL or MTC because I choose to use my Cricut and carts. ????? Puzzled! I can’t understand why people have to be against something to be for something else. I began using SCAL weeks after purchasing my Expression, and for me that is when the fun began. Like you, I continued to purchase shape cartridges, for their convenience. I was dissatisfied with the clumsiness of Design Studio compared to SCAL. I am enjoying working with vinyl and would not have been able to create what I have, had I stuck with cartridges alone. Using SCAL expanded my purchases of cartridges, they never lost business from my use of it. Now, they won't see another dime of my money. Please write a thorough review of the Black Cat Cougar after you have mastered it! I am very intrigued by it. I have enjoyed your blog immensely and look forward to your new one.
