Yesterday was my daughters Birthday.  It was a beautiful day.  After we sang Happy Birthday and blew out the candles, she wanted to know if we could do it again, hey why not.  So we lit the candles and sang Happy Birthday again and she blew out the candles again.  She loved it and had a great big smile on her face.  I did not get to make her cake like I planned.  So disappointing after buying everything I needed.  After we got back from our mini vacation at the Kalahari I ended up getting sick.  Sunday I went to urgent care and ended up with antibiotics for an ear and throat infection.  My sister saved my sanity by getting the bakery where she works to do a Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake.  It was so cute.  Now I will just have to make a cake for no reason.  My son won’t complain as long as it has lots and lots of frosting.

I am excited, I ordered the Cindy Loo cricut cartridge from cricutmachine.com. I am anxiously waiting for my Cinch binding tool that I ordered from Kim at www.cutterscreek.com It is suppose to be shipping out this week.  Yeah!!!  The only question that I have, is what to do with my pink Bind It All 2.0….If anyone is interested in buying it, e-mail me your offer using the contact form on the right.

The hide contour feature is now available.  Yeah!!!  You can download the latest gypsy update here. Here are the details of the latest update.

The upcoming cartridges have been added to the Cricut Design Studio.

The new cartridges are Cindy Loo, Freshly Picked, Mini Monsters, Toy Story, and Wall Decor and More.  I love, love Cindy Loo.

There has also been an update to the software.  This is the best news!!!!  We are finally going to get the hide contour feature on our Gypsy.  The update available right now is only for Design Studio.  Unfortunately until the Gypsy update is available then this feature is useless in DS.  If you want to read more about the upcoming Gypsy update including screen shots, please click here.

I am sorry, I know that I said I would be posting new files today but unfortunately I did not get a chance to finish them of my day off yesterday.  My daughter wanted me to lay down with her when I put her to bed last night and I ended up falling a sleep.  The sleep sure felt good though!  I hope to get them done after work tonight so I can post them sometime tomorrow.  We having been on mandatory OT at work for the past few weeks and it is required for the upcoming week as well.  I also want to apologize for my blog going up and down.  I think I got it working correctly and everything as good as new….Hopefully.  Cross your fingers for me.  I think that this batch of new cartridges are going to be some of my favorites.
