NEWS!! & Easter Word Book Designed On My Ipad
Hi Everyone,
Slowly but surely I am getting back in the groove. Here is an Easter wordbook completely done on my Ipad. I tried out a new app to connect to my PC that works over 3G and Wifi. It is called Go To My PC. It was so simple to install. You download the software on the website and download the app to your ipad. You are all set. My PC is on a Router and it configured everything perfectly. The graphics on this program are awesome! You can do everything on your computer, like right click, select and drag. Crucial tools that you need when you are trying to design in inkscape or other programs. It works so well and they even give you a 30 day free trial. The app on the ipad is free so there is no cost to check it out. The only catch is that after 30 days it is $9.99, but I think that it is so worth it! If you want me to do a video on it, please leave a comment. I will do one if there is enough interest.
It has been a long time since I have done a word book, I thought that it was about time
An Easter wordbook SVG! The zip file only includes the png image and the svg. The svg is in layers so you can turn off and on each page as you are cutting it.
I have been thinking about what to do about my blog and my Cricut. In-case you have not heard. MTC settled the Law Suit with Provocraft and now they no longer will be supporting the cricut. The cricut will still work with MTC as long as you dont upgrade your software. They are going after Craftedge as well. I have been looking into a new cutter for SVG’s. I have a pink E-craft by craftwell but it is kind of buggy and I am not really happy about it. I plan to do some more testing with it this weekend, MTC is compatible with the E-Craft and Craftedge is working on SCAL2 to be compatible as well. My love for cricut though is dieing. It is just to hard to keep up with all the cartridges. The last cartridge I purchased was from Black Friday and I don’t plan to buy more. I wish that we could buy 1 image and down load versus having to buy a whole cartridge. I also made up my mind to not renew the cricut circle membership for the next quarter. I have had the Everyday Cricut cartridge listed on Craigslist for over 3 weeks with not even one person interested. I just don’t think that the “exclusive” program is worth it. To finance a new cutting machine I have listed my Imagine and Cricut Cake cutter on Craigslist. If anyone has used other cutting machines and has any advice, please let me know. You can e-mail me at mycricutscrapbooking at gmail.com. So far I will be checking out Pazzles and a Lynx Black Cat cutter. I want to try and stay with cutters that will use Scal2 or MTC. Thank you for stopping by my blog!
Noel Wordbook SVG
I received a comment a few weeks ago from someone having trouble creating a wordbook. They wanted a NOEL wordbook for the Christmas Holidays. I made a the wordbook for them and this is what I came up with.
The svg has been created using layers, so you can turn layers on and off when cutting them in SCAL2.
Happy cutting on your cricut
Bracket Book SVG File
Here is a 4 page bracket book. I made the pages nest 2 inches apart. The svg was done in inkscape in layers so you can import the whole wordbook into SCAL and cut it by turning the layers on and off. I imported the svg already into SCAL2 and setup the file for a 12×12 mat and 12×6 mat. Both SCUT2 files are included in the zip file. Happy cutting on your cricut.

Mom Flower Wordbook SVG For Sure Cuts Alot
I have been working on another wordbook. I like it but it did not turn out the way I wanted so I am going to go back to the drawing board on this one. I thought that someone may like it. It is 4 inches by 11.25. I need it to be 5.50 inches in height and with the stretch it distorted the flower at the end to much.
The svg and scut2 file are included in the download.
Happy cutting on your cricut
