Summer Word Book Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge Cut File
I had a request for a SUMMER word book using the Plantin Schoolbook cricut cartridge. Here is the .cut file. For those Cricut Gypsy owners I have included the .gypsy file in the download as well.
If you are interested in the Summer wordbook in an SVG format I did one last summer.
2009 Wordbook SVG
Today I had a little bit of time to work on another word book. Here is a 2009 wordbook to cut on your cricut. I just wanted a simple wordbook that I could embellish and put a few pictures of my kids in to give as a gift.
With the latest update to SCAL 2 I wanted to share how easy it is now to import a single wordbook svg into SCAL 2 and separate the layers and have them ready to cut on your cricut in just a few minutes. I included the complete svg file in the zip file for download but also included the separate layers svg files as well for people still using scal1 software.
HOHOHO Word Book FOR SCAL V2.0
This is my very first wordbook done entirely in SCAL 2.0. I am mainly an inkscape user when it comes to creating files to cut on my cricut. I decided to just try using SCAL 2.0 by itself and see how I like it. I am getting ready to mail my brother and sister-in-law there Christmas gift and I wanted to include something that I made myself. I decided that a HOHOHO wordbook would be perfect. It was very easy to make the wordbook in SCAL 2. The chipboard cut wonderfully on my cricut. I also only used the paper from the 2 My Minds Eye Christmas packs. I love the last page with the Santa’s on it. I wanted each letter to remind me of a wrapping paper from a Christmas gift, but cricut style!
Here is how it turned out. (click on the picture to download the scut file) This file is ONLY compatible with scal version 2 for Windows or Macs. It will not work with version 1 at all. Sorry.
I binded it with my pink Bind It All. It turned out soooo cute. I don’t know if I was a mad women cricut possessed but I managed to create it, cut and put it together in less then 2 hours. I am going to let my sister-in-law decorate it.
